Bird Bro is an independent birding site. We write plain-English guides to birding gear and apps so you can spend less time shopping and more time outside looking up.
How we know our stuff
- Product specs come from the manufacturer's own page, which we link on every product.
- App descriptions come from each app's official site. We note the date we last reviewed a page.
- For general buying advice we lean on the educational guides from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Audubon.
- We do not lab-test optics. When something is the manufacturer's claim or comes from specs rather than hands-on use, we say so.
- We leave out prices and ratings that we cannot keep accurate.
How the site makes money
Bird Bro does not currently earn commissions from the links on this site. If that changes, commissions will never decide what we recommend or how we rank it, and we will say so in the affiliate disclosure.
